How to choose
- Starting out? Get an Arduino Uno R3 — most tutorials, libraries and examples target it.
- Short on space or building something small — Nano or Pro Mini (breadboard-friendly).
- Many sensors and pins needed — Mega 2560 (54 digital, 16 analog pins).
- Need WiFi? Look at the ESP32 / ESP8266 category instead of Arduino.
- Need a faster 32-bit MCU — STM32 Blue Pill (programmed with ST-Link).
Compatibility
All boards are programmed with the Arduino IDE; boards with the CH340 chip need the CH340 driver on Windows (covered in our lessons).
