How to choose

  • Arm/camera that turns to an angle → SG90 servo (0–180°, straight from an Arduino pin).
  • Precise stepping on a budget → 28BYJ-48 + ULN2003 set.
  • Two-wheel DC robot → L298N (2 channels, 2A).
  • 3D printer / CNC → A4988 (simple) or TMC2209 (silent, runs cooler).
  • Never power motors from the Arduino 5V pin — use a separate battery or adapter.

Compatibility

Servo.h, Stepper.h and AccelStepper libraries are in the Arduino IDE; drivers accept 3.3V/5V signals from Arduino and ESP32.
