How to choose
- LDR module (LM393 / KY-018) — turn lights on at dusk; digital and analog output.
- IR remote kit HX1838 — remote + receiver + LED; control Arduino with a TV remote, IRremote library.
- KY-005 + KY-022 — your own IR transmitter/receiver pair; encoder/decoder module for remote signals.
- KY-008 laser — 650 nm, 5 mW; laser tripwires, games and effects.
- Colour sensor (TCS3200) — outputs RGB values; robot arm sorting coloured objects.
Compatibility
IR modules use a 38 kHz carrier; the LDR analog output goes to A0 — all are 3.3V/5V compatible.
