How to choose
- Active buzzer — sounds as soon as the pin gets 5V, single tone; alerts and timers.
- Passive buzzer (KY-006) — any note or melody with tone(); the “piano” from Arduino lessons.
- DFPlayer Mini — plays MP3 from micro SD, drives a 3W speaker directly; talking devices, museum guides, toys.
Compatibility
Buzzers drive straight from an Arduino pin; DFPlayer is controlled over UART (2 pins), DFRobotDFPlayerMini library.
