How to choose
- DHT11 — cheapest, ±2°C and ±5% RH; fine for learning and room monitoring.
- DHT22 (AM2302) — ±0.5°C, −40…+80°C; when accuracy matters.
- DS18B20 — temperature only, 1-Wire; dozens of sensors on one pin, waterproof version available.
- NTC (KY-013 / KY-028) — analog, fastest and cheapest; accuracy depends on calibration.
- Soil moisture — automatic plant watering; rain sensor — window/awning automation.
Compatibility
DHT.h and DallasTemperature libraries are available in the Arduino IDE; all work at 3.3V with ESP32.
