What is in this category
4 products: Ublox NEO-6M GPS Module + Antenna, Original Sim900 GPRS GSM Module + Antenna (IMEI unregistered), Ublox NEO-7M GPS/GLONASS Module + Antenna, Original Sim800L GPRS GSM Module (IMEI unregistered).
How to choose
- NEO-6M — the classic GPS, ~1 m accuracy, UART; coordinates, speed and time with TinyGPS++.
- NEO-7M — GPS + GLONASS, faster satellite lock, more stable in cities.
- SIM800L — compact GSM module, SMS, calls, GPRS internet; 3.7–4.2V supply, 2A peaks.
- SIM900 — larger module with antenna, more stable signal; Arduino shield form.
- Both GSM modules are not IMEI-registered — activating with a local SIM in Azerbaijan may require IMEI registration.
Compatibility
Modules connect over UART (SoftwareSerial); GSM needs its own strong supply (LM2596 or Li-ion) — the Arduino 5V pin is not enough.
